Shipping Perishable Items *NEW WEEKLY SHIPPING SCHEDULE 2024*

Shipping Live Jellyfish + Frozen Jellyfish Food: Overnight delivery is mandatory and you must be available to acclimate the jellyfish into your jellyfish aquarium the day they arrive.

We ship Next Day Air Saver via UPS, which puts the jellyfish on your doorstep in the afternoon. Morning delivery and Saturday delivery options are available for an additional charge (can be found on the Moon Jellyfish Shop page).

NEW SHIPPING SCHEDULE: We ship Monday - Wednesday. Orders placed before 10 a.m. PST ship same day. Orders placed after 10 a.m. PST ship the next day. Orders placed after 10 a.m. on Wednesday and over the weekend will ship the following Monday. View our shipping schedule below.

Refund Policy

Understandably, we are concerned about the welfare of our animals.  Many people do not understand that a specialized tank with proper filtration is necessary to responsibly keep jellyfish as pets. Therefore, to guard against misinformed purchases of live animals online, we reserve the right to cancel any live jellyfish order at our discretion.

All live animal sales are to be inspected immediately upon receipt. If you feel you have received an animal that is not healthy, or is not alive, you must notify us within 12 hours from the time of delivery to be considered for a refund. Notification should be in writing via email including a picture and/or video of the animal in question still in the bag & unopened along with a description of the problem. Further instructions can be found on the shipping container. Once the bag of jellyfish has been opened and the jellyfish have been moved to an aquarium, the refund policy is voided. 

eon Jellyfish Systems 10-20 gallon: When receiving an eon jellyfish aquarium, you have 72 hours to report any damage to the aquarium or contents of the shipping box. Even if you do not plan on setting up the aquarium right away, you must open the packaging and inspect for damage and record the damage with pictures /video so the damage is easily seen. Also, if the box arrives damaged, you must take pictures / video of the damage and report to us within 72 hours. Failure to communicate with us about any damage you find in the first 72 hours after taking delivery of the package (i.e. FedEx tracking has indicated the package was delivered to your shipping address, that is “taking delivery”) voids any refund or exchange. Shipping costs are non-refundable.

eon Jellyfish System 40 gallon: We are no longer keeping these in stock —- there is a 6-8 week manufacturing and shipping timeframe once the tank has been ordered. You have 72 hours to cancel the order with a fee of 5% for the credit card processing. The order cannot be cancelled after 72 hours from placing the order online.

Unopened and unused dry goods can be returned within 30 days of receipt with a 5% processing fee. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you do not understand our refund policy, it is your responsibility to correspond with us prior to placing an order for full clarification.

Cancelled orders are subject to a 5% processing fee.

Terms & Conditions

By agreeing to the Terms & Conditions, you are agreeing that you know you are purchasing live animals that, without a proper jellyfish aquarium with adequate filtration, may become deformed and subsequently die within 48 hours. You also agree that you have read and understand the following:
